Welcome to world of Mother & Baby Expo

Although the global economy is in the downward trend, India is still regarded as the fastest growing hub of the world and is expected to grow around 7% - 8% surpassing industry expectations. The Indian market combines the right balance of savings and spending. In the recent decade, spending patterns have increased in areas such life-style, leisure, entertainment, shopping and upgrading.

Like all aspects of life, products related to mother and babies i.e. pregnancy, post-pregnancy, child-birth and child care has a great potential. With a heavy urban population with fairly high spending life-styles Indian metros & mini metros have a great potential for these products and services.

In India during 2001 census, the child population between 0-6 age groups was approx 15.75 crores, which was almost 16% of population and is still growing rapidly. In 2001 total Indian population was approx 110 crores which is estimated at 118 crores by 2010.

The health and lifestyle industry related to expecting women & its care is growing at a blistering pace of up to 14% per annum. On the other hand, the child care segment is growing at 22%. All this is gives us a combined growth of 39% in the coming years.
